Sense8 Series Finale Part I

impala_evolvedI watched the finale! Overall I'm so impressed and I'm so glad the fanbase made this happen! I'm doing a rewatch already because I feel like I did not catch everything the first time, but I'm cutting my thoughts into two different posts.
Oh no, I do not remember what happened to Sara Patrell or why. But this intro is doing a great job of otherwise catching me up on where we're at.
I love this Nomi and Will team-up to talk to Jonas! The flashbacks with Angelica are a little confusing though. She infiltrated Whispers' network, gained his trust, in order to find Raul - because Whispers would not tell Angelica he had kidnapped him? But then Angelica's machine was used to turn sensates into killer drones?
Amanita was so real for that conversation on the roof, looking out at the Eiffel Tower. I love that moment because we know Amanita is all in on protecting the cluster, but it's still a huge burden on her (and the other humans).
Just when I thought Wolfgang's backstory could not get more tragic :/ Hoo boy. I know why Kala was the one to stop him from killing himself, but I wish other members of the cluster had stepped in too.
Will saying Wolfgang needs us??? And Sun saying this is war??? GAH that was so sexy.
Bug being so happy & smug when he saw that Detective Mun was okay during the newscast, and the way he kept looking at Sun, was a real treat :D
NO MORE CARBS IN THE HOUSE! LMAO Lito is a riot.
hahaha Rajan showing up, accidentally leading BPO right to them, then the reveal with him trying to take in everything. Oh man, we're seeing Kala fall in love with him in real time.
It's so fun that Riley has all these club connections and the club owners are in love with her, haha.
Dani being a badass! We love to see it. I just love how the show continually reminds us that she is her own person, with her own past and her own motivations. She's not just there to tag along with Lito and Hernando.
Fuck okay, Will shaking his head no after El-Saadawi asks them to kill Whispers was so hot to me. I love how it wasn't even a discussion between any of them.
The Chairman threatening Wolfgang with his Darth Vader mask was sort of funny, but then again I love that Wolfgang is getting to threaten him right to his face.
OH HELL YEAH I love when a plan is being described as it's being carried out!
LMAO Milton in basically full fetish gear. That would have been funny to hear them discussing how to disguise his handcuffs - I want to know who had the idea first.
Rajan jumping in to save Wolfgang after Kala did the same! Rajan was ride or die for Wolfgang SO fast.
MUN!! Haha I LOVE how this is becoming the ultimate team-up with everyone's significant others. Also, Mun calling her Ms. Bak is SO romantic.
Ohhh I love how Lila is taking matters into her own hands. That totally fits with what he know about her.

I could not tell you how many times I've watched this series and I'm honestly STILL a little confused by the whole Angelica thing. There was a great write up on reddit if you're interested. I can try and track it down.
Honestly, I love the scenes where Amanita starts showing the pressure of all this. They're few and far between but Freema is sooo talented and you can see the cracks start to show before she adjusts and deals with things. What an amazing character.
I knoooooow omg poor baby. And his poor mother Jesus H Christ. Honestly I love that that's why he killed his dad. Good for him. As far as the other members of the cluster, I'm not sure they could really reach him at that point. He's still on blockers and sedatives for the most part, and Kala really had to strain to reach him. Plus he's always been a bit more closed off to the others, and dealing with bad dreams probably didn't help him open up. One little thing about that scene that I absolutely love is that Wolfgang is known for being reckless with his life (playing chicken with a helicopter in season one) and Kala BEATS him at chicken when he puts that gun to his head. It's just *chefs kiss*
Immediately cuts to Wolfgang breaking free and going on a killing spree LOL
Oh Rajan. That scene is fantastic. I love that he isn't even angry or jealous seeing a naked man in the apartment, he's just confused. And then Bug nodding like that LOLOL
One of the best scenes of the finale. And I love that everyone got their moment to shine in this movie.
I thought it was kinda weird that Riley would even go back to ask. Like obviously you're not sacrificing Wolfgang girl what were you thinking.
It probably wasn't that weird to see him in a club like that but WOW imagine what's going through his head when they put him on a leash LOL
YES! Took him two seconds to be all "our boyfriend". Love that for him.
I want to see them together for 50 years and him still calling her Ms. Bak. HOTTTT. Also, her using him as a step stool to jump on that guy was incredible. Never change honey.

I did really like that Kala got to show Wolfgang just how reckless she can be - she matches his freak and he didn't even realize she would!

Right? I figured it was written that way for the group to display their loyalty . But maybe Riley was so shocked by the proposal she wanted to share with everyone?

Yeah could be. Riley also owed the archipelago a favor for telling her Whispers' real name so maybe she just needed someone more forceful to tell her she COULD decline it.
